Accounts Payable Supervisor

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable to be based in a fabulous and well-recognised business based in Birmingham City Centre! We are ideally looking for a candidate with previous experience in Accounts Payable and senior responsibilities. This role sits within an established Purchase Ledger team, we’re looking for a positive individual that wants to get involved with the group and stay long-term!

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee Purchase Ledger processes and handle the more complex queries that are escalated by the team. They will work closely with other senior stakeholders within the business such as the Management Accountant and Financial Controller to report on and understand the cashflow within the business. The team are friendly and welcoming and like to have a laugh whilst getting their work done, we are looking for a positive character with a can-do attitude that will hit the ground running in this role and fit in with the team!

Skills Required

• We are looking for a candidate with plenty of experience in Purchase Ledger to hit the ground running in this role!
• Extensive experience in query resolution is essential as the Accounts Payable Supervisor will be dealing with escalated queries from the team!
• We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable using Microsoft Excel with functions like V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• The successful candidate must be a confident communicator as they will be liaising and working with senior stakeholders within the business!
