Finance Officer

We have been in close contact with our client who operates within the education sector in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking to hire a talented Finance Officer to add to their Accounting department. The team has expanded in recent years, and they are looking to add another Finance Officer who is available to start immediately.

Our client is seeking a candidate who has at least one year’s experience in Accounting, they are looking for someone who has a strong confidence in their own abilities, and someone who could potentially hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be covering mainly purchase ledger responsibilities, including processing invoices. They will also be gaining exposure to some minor credit control duties like occasionally collecting lost revenue over the telephone.

Skills required

• One year experience in an accounting related role, this could be in a work experience placement or even in a voluntary position.
• To be immediately available, the client are keen to start your integration to the team sooner rather than later.
• To have an excellent eye for detail, as you will be working with figures and statistics throughout your time in this role.
• To exhibit an impressive style of communication, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders throughout your time in this role.
