Group Finance Manager

Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per year

This group of businesses based in Wolverhampton are looking to strengthen their team within the commercial finance arm. Due to this I am looking to recruit a Group Finance Manager to play a pivotal part in the business, someone who can consolidate the accounts and support continuous growth of the business.

This exciting role will immerse you straight into an operational and commercial business-facing finance role, with the unique responsibility of having direct influence over the regular commercial decisions made in relation to this company’s sales strategy.

Providing the commercial team with factual data based on your in-depth analysis of sales figures and sales patterns, your insight and guidance will help them make quick decisions on sales strategy to implement straight into the business. Analysing complex sets of data and quickly identifying patterns is key to the success of this role, allowing you to give intelligent and accurate information on which sales strategies prove successful, and why

Ideally, you will:
• Be a recently-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with a good technical accounting background and an analytical nature
• Be used to working at pace, demonstrating the organisational skills to effectively balance many different priorities simultaneously
• Have managed a team of at least 5 previously
• Be motivated by the ability to add tangible value in your role, with the initiative to demonstrate instances in which you can directly improve a process or positively influence a situation.
