Senior Financial Accountant

Overview

A UK leading not-for-profit organisation is currently on the lookout for a skilled and compassionate Senior Financial Accountant to come and join their fantastic team over in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and out-going finance professional, to join a leading organisation that will offer both support and exposure to enable you to progress with your career.

The ideal candidate for this role will be personable, professional and reliable. Someone who has previous experience in a financial accounting role and is pursuing their ACCA/CIMA qualification (finalist or near finalist level is ideal)

Skills required

• Have a commercial outlook to enable you to gather and monitor the financial data for the business including; preparing statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Have strong budgeting and forecasting skills especially when tracking and overseeing costings for the business.
• Be able to analyse financial trends and provide detail commentary to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Be pursuing your ACCA/CIMA qualification ideally finalist level.
